It was in rural northeast Oklahoma with clear creeks and pastures of livestock that Charlotte Autry first fell in love… not with a person, but with ‘something’ that moved her to the core of her soul… and she would never be the same again. That ‘something’ was the sound of country music, and she would be so smitten with the connection that it made in her heart that it would become her lifelong pursuit to write and sing the songs that would touch other people like she had been touched.
Born and raised in northeast Oklahoma, Charlotte grew
up singing at church, school & in plays and musical productions, with one of her first solos as a small child being a song that Gene Autry recorded and is still popular today, ‘Upon the Housetop’.
Her musical style has been influenced by Gene Autry and many pioneers of the Music Industry that we know and love today…. Classics like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty, The Eagles and many more. Along with more current country vocalists like Reba McEntire, Wynonna, Gretchen Wilson, and Sara Evans, and groups like Rascal Flatts, & Lonestar.
Her simple love for music that touches the heart is what spurs her on towards her dream today. “A good song is one that makes you feel like the writer has looked into your life, and put it down in writing
and used the perfect words to describe your situation or feelings where previously there were just no words to describe it.” Says Charlotte
"And the fans" she continues "the GREAT support that I have gotten from fans everywhere is absolutely the fuel behind the fire!!! Just to have that many people believe in your dream is simply PRICELESS!!! GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!"
