My earliest known ancestor, Walter N Burrell, Sr. lived in Pendleton District, SC about 1785. He then moved to Spartenbug District SC by 1790. In 1800 his son Walter Jr had left his parents home, moved to Greenville Co SC, and married Phoebe Pruitt. Walter is listed on the Macon Co NC census by 1830 as were his children Bright, Je4sse, Matilda Burrell Hooper, and Mark, who is my great-great-grandfather. Mark Burrell (b 22 Oct 1806) married Huldah Denton (b 2 Aug 1805), she was alive in 1900, and may have lived to one hundred. Huldah had the following children
