Jacob "Jake" Eller was born about 1811 in NC. His family is enumerated in the 1840 Census of Rabun County Georgia. Being in Towns county prior to 1860, Jacob Eller, during the Civil War, was enrolled in the 40th Senatorial District Georgia Militia, district #1133.

Listed here are some of Jacob's children. It is supposed that Nancy Allen was Jacob's wife.
