Gather Foster, born in 1889, was the son of Hyatt and Treacy Hasseltine Hooper Foster. Gather married Oma Burrell in 1915. They are buried at Lower Hightower Church Cemetery, Towns County, Georgia. Born to this union were Wesley, Rhea, Willa Mae, Truett and Truman (twins), and Ruby. Ruby, born in 1924, married John Denton in 1946. They live in Towns County, Georgia.
Sanford Foster, born in 1891, to Hyatt and Treacy Foster, married Mamie Helen Rhinehart. He is buried at Franklin Springs Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Hartwell, Georgia. Their children were:
Amy Foster who married Parker Herring of Hartwell, Georgia. Their children were Mary Helen, Milford and Ralph Herring.
Velma Foster married Gartrell Harris of Hartwell. Blaine Harris is their child.
Ray Blaine Foster married Carria Carter.
Sanford B Foster, jr married Hannah Horne of Akron, Ohio. Their children are Harold Dean, Robert Lee, and Ruthayn.
Ruth Foster married Lonnie Chitwood, Jr. of Hartwell and Phyllis, Jerry and Wanda are their children.
Beatrice Foster married Merrett Cole. They have four children: Nancy, Ronnie M, jr., Garry and Wayne of Anderson, South Carolina.
Allie Foster, daughter of Hyatt and Treacy Hooper Foster, was born in 1893. She married Harve McFalls and later Jim Taylor. She is deceased and buried in Towns County at Hiawassee River, Mt Zion Church. Allie and Harve's children are:
Harold McFalls, born in 1920, who married Mary Warrich in 1953. Their chldren are Rose, Mary Darlene and Jerry.
Carol McFalls married a Violet. Carol is deceased and buried at Mt Zion Church Cemetery, Hiawassee, Georgia.
Alma McFalls married Russell Wilson on June 29, 1954. Born to Alma and Russell was a daughter, Cathey Hope. She married Gary Galbraith on July 7, 1977.
Mary Foster married Bond Berrong. Their children are Claude, Clyde and Dove. Claude is deceased and buried in Missouri. Clyde lives in Canton, Ohio. Dovie married Cicero Sutton and lives at Hiawassee, Georgia.
Dorrence Foster, born in 1900, son of Hyatt and Treacy Hooper Foster, married Maybelle Mauldin in 1918. He is deceased, buried at Mt Zion, Towns Co., Ga. Dorrence and Maybelle had three children: Pauline, Ralph, and Douglas. Pauline Foster was born in 1923. She married Clifford Taylor. Their children are Dennis, Keith, Phyllis, Hilda Ann and Denver Charles Taylor. Ralph Foster married Loraine Melton on 1942. Douglas Foster never married.
The following letter, in W Hyatt Foster's own handwriting, is in the possession of Annie Foster Howell Tilley of Blue Ridge, Ga. It was dated May 1st, 1905, Stilesboro, Georgia, Bartow, County. It states: "My little boys, You can see this when you can not see me. Yes, my little girls, may God bless your little souls. Remember Pa. Carry an honest and a dependent heart on God is my motto. I will not be here long with Mamma and you blessed little chidren. I am nearing my end.
