Mrs. Blonie Lee Forester Foster, 83, widow of Frank Foster, died Tuesday at Rabun County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Banks Co., she was a daughter of the late Cincinnati and Mary Herrin Forester. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had taught Sunday School for 27 years.
Surviving are sons, Robert Foster of Brevard, NC., Ray and Lester Foster of Rabun Gap, Donald Foster of Toccoa, Paul, Sam and Douglas Foster of Clayton, Andy Foster of Lake City, Fla., Jack Foster of Cornelia; daughters, Mrs. Velma Webb of Demorest, Mrs. Peggy Ramey of Macon; brothers, Joe Forester of Warner Robbins, Clyde Forester of Stone Mountain, John Moss Forester of Cornelia; sisters, Mrs Alice Batson of Demorest, Mrs. Oma Collier of Toccoa; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services at 2 pm Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev Ronie Hunter. Burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Wednesday, and will be placed in the church at 1 pm Thursday. The family is at the home.
