Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!

1. What is the most important decision in life that you have ever made?

2. According to God, what is the Greatest Choice In Life?

John has been demonstrating that Jesus is the true Son of God. Jesus sets before us the greatest choice in life. We are responsible to decide today whom we will obey (Joshua 24:15) and God wants us to choose him and life (Deuteronomy 30:11-20). The wrath of God is God’s final judgment and rejection of the sinner. To put off the choice is to choose not to follow Christ. Indecision is a fatal decision.

3. How do you make this choice? (You must be born again. This means that you are given new spiritual life through Christ; to become a child of God)

4. Why is it so important to become spiritually reborn? (John 3:5-6)

5. How is a person spiritually reborn?

Through the convincing and convicting of the Holy Spirit

Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord Almighty."

1 Corinthians. 2:4 "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power."

John 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him."

John 6:65 "No one can come to Me unless the Father has enabled him."

Through the Word: The sword of the Spirit.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Continuing in Sin results in spiritual death which results in hell.

John 3:3 "No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

Romans 8:15-17 "For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry "Abba Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

1 Corinthians 2:10-12 "but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us."

1 Thessalonians 1:5-6 "because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Accepting the Gift of Jesus Christ results in forgiveness of sin which results in eternal life.

If you want this gift you must take it, accept it, receive it, and claim it!

John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

As the way, Jesus is our path to the Father. As the truth, he is the reality of all of God’s promises. As the life, he joins his divine life to ours, both now and eternally. Jesus says he is the only way to God the Father. Some people may argue that this way is too narrow. In reality, it is wide enough for the whole world, if the world chooses to accept it.

John 10:9 "I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved"

Romans 10:9-11 "If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.’"

Revelation 3:20 "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."

The Lord longs for us to be in a right relationship with Him! I know right now that some here have already accepted Christ into their lives. That is great! If there is anyone that has not and wants too, please tell me now or immediately after this meeting. It is really easy to do and the benefits are tremendous! Is anyone willing to make a commitment?

If you made a commitment to Christ, please email me.
