A Dying Soul
Justice has never done Someone so wrong
As it has while I sing this song.
The tears that fall like rain From the cold, sad eyes
Of a child in pain From his life of sorrow.
Yet, what good have tears done To the child's heart
That's come undone Tatterd from years of hurt.
I'm sorry
has never helped Since they always do it again. No, apologies don't help
Since his heart is ruined.
Now, this child lies silent Away from his hurt Lying in his grave
Covered by dirt.
And now he's resting sweetly, All the tears are gone
Safe now forever In his Saviours Arms
