Thanks, Alain; I now know something I did not know before - and this does
help give me a starting place to consider in researching.  The surnames
COLOMBANI and COLOMBINI strike me as both being COLOMB with some additional
meaning tacked on.  Do you know what significance ANI and INI represent?
