Subject: [COULOMBE-L] Coulombe Book

Hello Florence:

This was extremely kind of you, and is much appreciated not only by me but
by many other Coulombe descendants who have all been unable to turn up any
additional information regarding Jacques and Rolline/Boémie Drieu. Every
effort made to date has failed to produce any information regarding our
ancestors in France.

Thank you!

I do understand that it's a shot in the dark; and that it may not produce
any results. However, that does not lessen the kindness you have extended,
and it is much appreciated.

No, I am personally not aware of Denis Beauregard's book; but Louis
Coulombe is well documented on this side of the ocean. It is only when we
turn to France that we meet a dead end.

Your english is just fine; so have no misgivings about that.
Unfortunately, I do not know the French language at all and have a high
regard for people who do.

Please accept my sincerest thanks for all your efforts on our behalf!

        Ellen M. Coulombe

: Hi Ellen
: I sent your demand on Coulombe family to the genealogical magazine of
: Normandie and I will inform you when it will be published probably in
: one month. It's like sending an SOS, impossible to know if somebody is
: listening.
:
: I notice that your ancestor "Louis Coulombe" is in Denis Beauregard's
: list of pioneers because he's listed in a book written in french :
:
: Nos Origines en France (1-7) (meaning "Our Origins from/in France" in 7 parts)
: by: Normand Robert
:
: Note: related to the beginning of Quebec
: in:Archiv Histo
: index, avec la permission de l'auteur par Denis Beauregard
:
: "Louis Coulombe" is mentionned in the seventh part. Have you heard about this book?
:
: I hope that you can understand what i wrote because I made the maximum with
: my little English.
:
: Bye
:
: Florence.
