: weekend?  Today I went to Rhode Island to do some research for myself
: and as I was browsing I came across a book on Ham Nord. I picked it up
: because my mother lived there for a short time and I wanted to see if I
: could find some info, well I found a few things for me and I found some
: for you. I don't know if this interests you so you can do what you want
: with it.

: Michel Marcotte--Appoline Guertin
: among the farmers that came here in 1856 we find Michel & Appoline, who
: come from Nicolet with their 6 children.
:   Michel is 39 and his wife is 37, their children Alfred 15, Celina 13,
: Elyse 8, Norbert 6, Emilie 4, Lumina 6 months.  Napoleon & Vitaline
: were born later to make a family of 8.
:     they established on the lot-33, rang b nord-est, with her brothers
: Augustin & Pascal as neighbors.
: Michel died in 1897 at age 80 Appoline died in 1882 age 63 in Ham NOrd.
:   there are still family in this parish.

:     Jean-Baptiste Coulombe was one of the original settlers of Ham Nord,
: he was originally from la Baie du Febvre Marie Prince from St. Gregoire
: Nicolet. the Coulombes iinhabited the 26,27,28 lots of the 11 rang of ham.
