Subject: [COULOMBE-L] To All

First off, I want to wish all of your, my distant "cousins", warmest
Christmas wishes and the hope for a very good New Year; may all your wishes
be granted!

I have been neglecting the list as I have been swamped of late with all the
chores associated with family and Holidays, and intend to get back to the
list in January.  I have been discouraged and suffering from burn-out lately
trying to keep this list going almost single handedly (with a few notable
exceptions and they know who they are and how appreciated they've been).

I have been informed by Roots-L that they have finally gotten an archive set
up for messages (ouch!  that means that all that has gone before has not
been saved in their database).  I intend to start recycling all the messages
that I've saved since the list began as a lot of information was given in
the earlier days that people who have joined the list along the way never
saw.

It has been my intention/desire to collect all information on ALL Coulombes
from each and every one of you so that I can store them on my computer for
future inquiries.  This includes those who may have had only one COULOMBE
(and all it's spelling variants) in their tree.  So, people, do not hesitate
to post those family trees on this list for all of us to share.  The more
information I have, the more I can share to others.  So don't be bashful,
post those questions or show us what you have so far...

I personally have been going crazy trying to pin down my husband's
Grandfather; who was a nomad and wandered all over the place - and to top it
off is not even going by his birth name.  That's a long story to be shared
later; but suffice it to say that he has proved to be such a frustration I
had backed off for a while on the whole thing!

So, Happy Holidays one and all.  Hopefully, we can get some posting started
after the Holidays again!
