Linda:

Thank you for writing; I am sorry it took me so long to answer but I was
deep into a time-intensive project and this email was buried in my
ever-growing backlog of mail to be answered. I am posting this message onto
our Coulombe mailing list, which I urge you to join so you can correspond
with all the other Coulombe's that I am in touch with. To join this list,
send a message to COULOMBE-L-request@rootsweb.com with no subject and the
simple message "subscribe" (no quotes) in the message base. I invite you to
feel free to correspond with anyone on the list in regards to comparing
notes or exchanging information. It's an informal list and the people are
friendly.

I personally have no plans to publish the Coulombe genealogy I am working
on. However, it is my understanding that there already exists a book on the
Coulombe family line written by a Paul Coulombe. I think the title is "The
Coulombe's of North America". The author lives in Maine and I believe he is
writing a sequel updating the information.

I am willing to share any information I may have in my records. I would ask
a favor of you; I am presently stalled on my husbands' Grandfather and you
may have some information to help me. My records indicate that Albert
Coulombe married a Delia Boucher on Feb. 26, 1900 in New Bedford,
Massachusetts. (He may have been Norbert or Napoleon; there is confusion
regarding his first name as his father did not have an Albert). I have not
been able to pin down anything regarding Delia, who I believe was born abt.
1877 and allegedly died abt. 1948 or so in Providence, R.I.

If you have any information regarding Delia I would be most appreciative.

In the meantime, please join the list and the rest of us researching this
family line.

    Ellen Marie Coulombe
