Need help!

I am desperately trying to pin down my husband's Grandparents:

Albert COULOMBE, married Delia BOUCHER born 1870's or 1880's, P.Q., Canada in abtout 1901?

Both Grandparents were born and married in the Province of Quebec area. Both were born in the 1870's or 1880's and married before they arrived in Maine at the turn of the century. They lived and worked for a time in or around Rumford, Maine. They had 5 children:

(1) Rose COULOMBE born abt. 1903

(2) (Joseph?) Napoleon Raoul COULOMBE, born April 23, 1905 in Chisholm (Mills?), Maine

(3) Anthony COULOMBE

(4) Robert COULOMBE (who later married and returned to Rumford with his wife and settled there), and

(5) Leon COULOMBE, who was the last born and was born in Canada while his parents were visiting. Leon died last year in Florida.

Obviously, I need help pinning down these elusive Grandparents so that I can begin tracing the lineage further back in time; and the information I receive from family members is very sparse; as well as the fact that they disagree on the fathers full name; whether his first name was Joseph or Napoleon. ::Sigh::

It is my understanding that the family also lived in Massachusetts and Rhode Island; and that Rose COULOMBE married Henry VAILENCOURT and raised 8 children in either Central Falls or Pawtucket, Rhode Island. One son is named Roland VAILENCOURT.

Three of the brothers went to Brooklyn, New York City as adults, where (Joseph?) Napoleon COULOMBE met and married Helen STEFANICK; the parents of my husband.

Can anyone help me find Albert and Delia's origins in P.Q. before I lose my mind?

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Ellen Marie Coulombe
