The first picture is the slipper folded in half and the bottom and back seam sew. The next picture is the finished slipper right side out and the flap layed down. This can really be done with any square pattern, knit or crochet, as long as the edge at of the square is about 1 - 3 inches longer than the person's foot. about 1/2 - 1 inch for a baby or child and up to about 3 inches for an adult for space for the foot.
