Here are recipes for three delicious pies to help cool the heat of summer. A Lemonade Pie, Key Lime Pie and a Koolaid Pie. These three pies use only 4 ingredients each.
Lemonade Pie (uses a graham Cracker Crust)
1) 1 (14 ounce) can sweeten3ed condensed milk
2) 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade, thawed
3) 1 (8 ounce) carton Cool Whip
4) Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs (optional)
Combine and mix all ingredients. Do not beat. Place in pie shell. Sprinkle with crumbs if desired and freeze.
Key Lime Pie (uses unbaked pie shell)
1) 6 egg yolks
2) 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
3) 1 cup Realime lime juice from concentrate
4) Green food coloring (optional)
Combine and beat above ingredients. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Coll and chill in refrigerator before serving.
Koolaid Pie (uses graham cracker crust)
1) 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk, refrigerated so it is cold
2) 2/3 cup sugar
3) 1 (.15 ounce) package Koolaid (unsweetened)
4) Cool Whip (optional)
Beat milk until it is doubled in size. Add sugar and Koolaid and beat until thickened (about 5 minutes). Place in graham cracker crust and refridgerate until ready to serve. Top with Cool Whip in desired.
