Teddy Sweater

Materials:
3 ounces of worsted weight yarn
Size 7 knitting needles
yarn needle

Gauge: 4 sts = 1" 7 rows = 1"

Cast on 16 sts

Row 1 - 30: Knit across.(sleeve) At end of Row 30 DO NOT TURN. Instead, cast on 16 more stitches, then turn.(front)

Row 31: Knit across. At end of row DO NOT TURN. Instead, cast on 16 more stitches, then turn. (Back)

Row 32 - 45: Knit across.

Row 46: Bind off 26 sts as if to knit. Then knit to end of row.(front opening)

Row 47 - 50: Knit across.

Row 51: Knit across to end, DO NOT TURN. Instead, cast on 26 stitches, then turn.(front side)

Row 52 - 65: Knit across.

Row 66: Bind off 16 stitches as if to knit. Knit to end and turn.

Row 67: Bind off 16 stitches as if to knit and knit to end.

Rows 68 - 98: Knit across.(sleeve)

Row 99: Bind off all stitches across as if to knit.

Fold as shown and whip stitch the arm and side seams. Turn right side out and roll sleeves to make a cuff.
Then place on bear. This will also fit a preemie. Just crochet your favorite edging around the neck, front
opening and bottom edges of the sweater.
