Jennifer - 12/03/97 00:49:35 Age(children only): 10 Friend, Teacher or Classmate?: Friend, foster niece | Comments: Julito was a good friend and meant a lot to me. We had a lot of good times together. One of my favorites was when he asked if I would marry him! He would always hug me when it was time for me to go and he would not let me go! We had to pry him off of me! Then he would always wish me a happy birthday or Merry Christmas no matter what time of the year it was! I am glad he is out of misery now and having a wonderful time with his friends in Heaven! |

Everytime I see a red truck I think about the time I took you to McDonald's in my red truck and you ate lots of french fries. Or so I thought - you told me you had to go to the bathroom here you spit most of them out! You were such a funny guy! I don't have the red truck any more but I'll always have my memories of you. Love, Sandra |

Nevertheless, it seems that people that knew him, loved him a lot. Hopefully, he felt that love from family and friends and that helped him to live better, if possibl . My best wishes for all of you. |

Don Kees - 09/10/97 20:15:40 My Email:dkees@carilion.com Friend, Teacher or Classmate?: Pediatrician | Comments: I had the priviledge of caring for Julito from the time he came to live with the Ohl's until his death. I have many memories of Juilto. I will always remember him as a small child during his hospital stays. He would always look so sad in the crib when Ester was not there. However as soon as she would appear he would brighten up and become very animated. As an older child, we had a game that he would hide from me (usually under the exam table) when he would come for office visits. Despite having to often be seen by physicians, Juilto was not afraid and always gave me a big hug. I will also never forget the loving and exausting care the Ester gave Juilto. This care allowed he to have such a full life. I miss Juilto and I will never forget him. Patients like him and parents like Ester make the practice of pediatrics worth while. |
Missy - 09/04/97 02:18:09 Friend, Teacher or Classmate?: foster sister | Comments: Julito always had a smile on his face! He taught us that no matter what comes our way in life - we should make the best of it! Julito would always make friends everywhere we went - He never met a stranger! I know he has already made the rounds in Heaven and is telling everyone there about us! |
Aaron - 08/30/97 01:47:12 Friend, Teacher or Classmate?: foster nephew | Comments: I liked when we would walk around Grandma's house singing "all the wood stool, jumping on the wood stool!" (a.k.a. alloette) Julito was my best, best uncle in the whole world! We had lots of fun together! Julito liked Billy Ray, going to hocky games, and hugging everyone at the games. I can't wait to get to Heaven to see him! |

Peggy Ohl - 08/24/97 00:11:53 My Email:pegohl@swva.net Friend, Teacher or Classmate?: foster sister | Comments: I have so many special memories of Julito that it is difficult to pick only one. I visited Julito on the morning of the day he died. He snuggled up next to me on the couch and we watched the movie "Space Jam". He got up and danced when a rap song came on. He and Crystal had a heated discussion over how much it cost to rent a limosine. He asked what the word "forfeit" meant. He pretended he was playing the drums with 2 pencils. It was a perfectly ordinary morning, that I would have soon forgot if Julito had not died unexpectedly early that afternoon. I am so glad I had that one last morning to spend with Julito. It is my most precious memory. |
