    My files on Daskam, Dascum, Dascomb, Dascombe etc. have over 3000 names which I am willing to share with others interested in the name.The first Dascomb(e)s arrived early in the 1700's and soon split into two groups. My particular line moved to Connecticut, on to New York, to Illinois and then to California. I am especially interested in all female lines as others working on these names are only working on the male lines.I even have data on the one line of Daskams not related to the rest of us, they being the ones who assumed the name after immigrating to the United States.
        Collecting names is not all I do, I collect the fascinating tidbits recorded in the records that bring these people back to life. An example of this is the printed tale of a wild boar attack on Henry Daskam in Ohio. As I have been director of  Family History Center for more years than I care to relate, I have had ample opprtunity to thoroughly research my data.
