She Wrote: I had previously sent out the Mills line. In looking over it and working on putting it all in the computer, I have found discrepencies in the line prior to William Mills / Myll.
The info comes from two sources.
One source has the wives as the mothers, so it is impossible for me to know who is what without further research.
I have attached the Mills file to this message. This is as far back on this line as I dare to go and feel safe that the information is correct to this point. One source (copy from unnamed book) says that William and Ambrose were twins. Another source (Forest Edgar Lyda) states that William and Anthony were twins and Anthony died young.

About 1773, he was granted 150 acres on Pistol Creek, near Lisbon, GA, in old Lincoln Co. His will is dated 9/1777 Wilkes Co., GA and names his wife Alice and fourteen children.

On the first Thursday in March next, will be sold at the late residence of William Mills, deceased, in Washington County, all of the personal estate of said deceased, consisting of horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, corn, fodder, household and kitchen furniture, withother articles too tedious to mention. On the same day will be rented till the first of January 1816, the plantation whereon the deceased lived. Terms made known on the day of sale. All persons having demands against the estate are requested to bring them forward duly authenticated within the time prescribed by law. Those indebted are requested to make immediate payment.
