Welcome to the LeFever Genealogy Page! I am beginning to update this site as it has been 9 months since making any changes. My parents and I have been busy over the past 9 months doing research and have came up with some new names, dates and we even have some pictures to add. The above photo is my dad and I after finding where my gr-gr-grandmother is buried.


If you have any information on the LeFever surname, I would like to hear from you. I am also open to any suggestions, hints or help concerning genealogy research.


We currently have traced back to 1833 and seem to have hit a stopping point temporarily. According to census reports from 1870 and 1880, Henry C LeFever was born in Pennsylvania around 1833. In the census reports, he was living in Pike county Ohio. All but one of his children and the generations since, have remained mostly in Pike, Champaign and Logan counties of Ohio.


The LeFever "home on the web" will also contain information of the surnames that have married into the LeFever family. We will be adding new information frequently so we invite you to return and watch our family tree grow.
