This list of links are of sites that have been very helpful in the search of our LeFever ancestory. I hope these sites will be of assistance in your search as well. I will be adding more to the list very soon, so please check back.

GenServ is a totally volunteer run site. They have a huge database and I have gotten more information from this site on the LeFever surname than from any other site. There is a $12 a year fee, but well worth it!

The Tombstone Transcription Project site contains information on many cemeteries through out the U.S. This site has been a big help in our research.

The Vitals Page is a large list of links to sites with birth, death, marriage and other records. Very helpful site!

This Ohio Death Index covers the years 1913 to 1927, and 1933 to 1937. This site can be very helpful if your search has brought you to Ohio.

Pennsylvania Help List- This is a list of people who have access to many Pennsylvania resources. You e-mail them, and they will help you out. Very helpful site for Pennsylvania research!

Emigration/Ship List- If you have traced back far enough to the point that you need to start searching through ship lists, this is the site to go to. This site has an extensive list and is a great place to start!

GenForum is an excellent place to read and post queiries. This is a very well organized and easy to use site.

If you have a website with your genealogy information and wish to submit it to search engines, check out this site for free submission software.
