Building a webpage is so easy! If you've never done it before you can download MSIE 5 and it comes with a free authoring tool. Just type in a few paragraphs and you've got your own webpage.
Now that's all you really need, but if you want to add a little of your own flare. To help you out I'm going to share some of the tools I use in building my sites. This is my basic equipment and software, I'll be adding some of the books and HTML Help sites I use later.

Software Programs

Micrografx Picture Publisher 6.0
I love this program! I prefer it to Paint Shop Pro, but maybe that's just because I've been using it for such a long time. It only costs about $60 and because it's Shareware you can use it one as many computers as you want. 6.0 has so many new features, including some nifty animated GIF stuff and some new Wizards.

Dream Weaver I don't like Dream Weaver that much, but it does some stuff really well, like tables and forms. It is probably the best WYSIWIG editor available.

Adobe Acrobat
I just use this for creating online PDF files, but it's a good program.

As for the HTML writing I do it all myself with the Geocities editor.
