Her tiny delicate face
so full of charm,
I cuddle her close
within my arms.
Soft downy fur
I bury my face in,
Little pink tongue
wet against my skin.
Almond eyes shine bright
with wonder,
All things seem new
that come thru her.
This love of life
that Kimi shows,
Comes from deep within
what her heart knows.
And like all others
this Sheltie of mine,
Brings forth this child in me
and makes me ageless in time.
