I made this page in memory of my Niece who passed away August 20th 1997, from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was 16 years old and very full of life and loved by all who knew her. She also left behind an 11 month old son whom she named Justin, he is the spitting image of his mother, I don't know what we would all do without him, it helps to have a part of her still with us. I miss her so much and it hurts so bad, hopefully with time the pain will ease and I'll be able to remember her without crying. She was very, very special to me almost as if she was my own child, we were very close and stayed together alot. Mandy, this page is for you baby, I love you so much.

To live in hearts
We leave behind
is not to die

ANGELPoemsANGEL

Angel

You never said Im leaving-You never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it-And only God knew why. A million times we needed you- A million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you- You never would have died. In life we loved you dearly-In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place- That no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to loose you- But you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you- The day God took you home.

Angel

Her Journey Has Just Begun

Don't think of her as gone away--
her journey's just begun
life holds so many facets--
this earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know, today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--
and she was loved so much.

ANGEL

SHOULD YOU GO FIRST

Should you go first and I remain
to walk this road alone.
I'll live in memory's garden dear
With happy days we've known
In spring I'll wait for roses red.
When fades the lilac blue
In early fall when brown leaves fall
I'll catch a glimpse of you.
Should you go first and I remain
For the battles to be fought
Each thing you've touched along the way
Will be a hallowed spot!
I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile,
Though blindly I may grope.
The memory of your helping hand
Will bouy me with hope.
Should you go first and I remain
To finish out the scroll,
No length'ning shadow shall creep in
To make this life seem droll.
We've known so much happiness,
We've had our cup of joy.
And memory is one gift of God
That death cannot destroy.
Should you go first and I remain,
One thing I'd have you do:
Walk slowly down the path of death
For soon I'll follow you.
I'll want to know each step you take
That I may walk the same
For some day down that lonely road,
You'll hear me call your name.

FLOWER

Angel

A little angel came to earth to visit one day
She didn't have much time to stay and play,
She stayed sixteen years and the time just flew
She brought such joy to all she knew

She taught us to make every moment count
The quality of time matters, not the amount,
Each day is a gift to be unwrapped with care
To be enjoyed with others whose love you share.

Now she is gone but her spirit remains
To help us cope with life's aches and pains,
Amanda was an angel from the heavens above
Who brought us the gift of everlasting love.

God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower strewn pathways
All our lives through,
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.

But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way.
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
Undying love...
