Troy Thomas Alcorn, 66, of Kingston, died
Thursday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
A former Oliver Springs resident, Mr.
Alcorn worked as a self-employed electrician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the
Frank Arkley Alcorn and Kathryn Irene Rickett Alcorn; a son, George Steven Alcorn; one brother, Earl
Alcorn; and a sister, Dorothy Alcorn.
Survivors include a special friend, Deonna Taylor of
Kingston; children and spouses, Thomas Edward Alcorn of Kingston, Buford and Janie Alcorn of
Oliver Springs, Carolyn and Hayes Alexander of Kingston, David and Debbie Alcorn and Angela
Coker, all of Oliver Springs; brothers, Bill, Clyde, Ray and Paul Alcorn, all of Oliver Springs and
Claude Alcorn of Florida; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and
nephews.
Funeral service was conducted Saturday in Sharp Funeral Home Chapel with the
Rev. Kenneth Stubbs officiating. Graveside service was Sunday in Oliver Springs
Cemetery.
