Betty Lee Backleitner, 73, of Andersonville, died Saturday in her residence.

She was born Feb 28, 1921, in Roane County, the daughter of Thomas E and Betty Lee TIpton Underwood.

Survivors include her hasband, Joseph A Backleitner of Andersonville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Gilbert Ballard of Andersonville, Cathy Obannon of Flat Rock, Ala., ad Reba and Jim Boggs of Westville, Ind; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Crawford of Geneva, Ohio, NickIsabell and Melvin and Jan Isbell, all of Sacramento, california.
