Harry Richard Bailey, Jr., 74, of
Coalfield, died Friday night
at his home. He was a native of Nashville.
His parents were the
late Harry and Annie Bailey.
A brother, Paul Bailey, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Bailey was
a retired heating and air
conditioning engineer for the City of Dothan, Ala. He was a
Baptist.
Mr. Bailey was an Army
veteran of World War I I.
He had lived in Coalfield for about eight
months, moving there from
Dothan, Ala., where he had lived for many years.
Survivors include
his wife Nancy J. Bailey of
Coalfield; two children, Richard Daniel and Veronica Ann Bailey, both of
Coalfield; brothers, Arthur
Bailey of Oak Ridge; Harold Bailey of Nashville; Edsel Bailey of Milton,
Fla. and a sister, Helen Arnold
of Madison.
Services were held Monday night in the chapel of Sharp
Funeral Home in Oliver
Springs. The Rev. Keith Price officiated. Burial was at the Tennessee
State Veterans Cemetery in
Knoxville on Tuesday.
