Henry Bailey, 68, of Andersonville, died April 19 in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was a member of Miracle Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains and was a retired farmer.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Viola Soloman Bailey.

He was born May 5, 1925 in Jefferson County.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Bailey; sons, Paul (Butch), John R. and David Bailey; stepsons, David and Terry Wilkerson of Andersonville; daughters, Henriette, Patsy, Darlene, Virginia; stepdaughter, Linda Williams of Andersonville; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three stepgrandsons; three stepgranddaughters; sisters, Lucille, Ada, Pauline and Alene; brother, James Bailey; several nieces and nephews.

Services were Friday in Lone Mountain Baptist Church in Andersonville with the Rev. Archie Seiber and the Rev. Fred Bean Jr. officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Andersonville. Martin Clinton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
