Jesse Williamson Bailey, 78, of Mahoney Road, Oliver Springs, died Oct. 31 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

A homemaker, she had lived in Oliver Springs for many years and was a member of New Mountain Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bailey was a native of Union County. Her parents were the late Bell Ballard and Silas Williamson. Her husband, Alfred Bailey, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, John H. and Ruth Ann Bailey of Clinton and Gary W. Bailey of Oliver Springs; three brothers, J.T. and Howard Williamson, both of Halls, and Harve Williamson of Corryton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Burial was in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
