Ellen Baker, 93, of Collier Road, Powell, died Wednesday at the Hillcrest North Health Care Center in Knoxville. Services were held Saturday at the Powell First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Jones officiating. Burial was at Bells Camp Ground Cemetery in Powell.

She was born June 21, 1900, in Knoxville to the late William B. and Mary Susan Ford Baker.

Miss Baker was a member of Powell First Baptist Church.

A sister, Eliza Headrick and brothers, Clifford and Nero Baker, died earlier.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Eugene (Esther) Smitson of Powell; several nieces and nephews; and many firends.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
