Funeral Services were held Thursday
at Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home Chapel for Ova Lea Baker, 70, of Hicks Circle, Clinton.
Burial was Friday morning at
Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens. The Rev. George Williams
officiated.
Mrs. Baker died
Wednesday morning at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was
born Sept. 24,
1923, in Sylva, NC, to Stiles and Cordelia McCall Crowe. Her husband,
Harry Baker, died in
1987.
A homemaker, Mrs. Baker was a member of Second Baptist
Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and S.J.
(Stony) VanHook I I I of
Oliver Springs; a son, Larry Baker of Clinton; grandchildren, S.J. (Jay)
VanHook I V and Jennifer Lynn
VanHook, both of Oliver Springs; mother, Cordelia Crowe of Sylva, and
several nieces and
nephews.
