Willis Esker Baker Sr., 81 of Clinton,
died Sunday, Jan 14,
1996, in Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital.
He was a motion picture
machine operator for Oak
Ridge Theaters and an Anderson County school bus driver for 20
years.
He was a 32 degree
Mason with Clitnon Masonic Lodge #376 and a member of Turning Point
Church in
Clinton.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents James A.
and Eliza Worley Baker,
daughter Mary Laretha Baker, and sons Kenneth LeRoy and James Walker
Baker.
He is
survived by his wife Myrtle Christenberry Baker of Clinton, son Willis E.
Baker Jr. and wife Joyce
Baker of Knoxville, and grandchildren Willis E. Baker I I I of Knoxville,
Joi Denise Baker of Knoxville,
and great-grandchild Christopher Daniel Baker of Knoxville.
Funeral
service was 8:30 pm
Tuesday, Jan. 16 in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Ernest Wright and the Rev.
Russell Bell officiating.
Graveside service was 10:30 am this
morning (Wednesday) in East
Fork Cemetery, Oak Ridge.
The family received friends 7-8:30 pm
Tuesday, Jan 16 in
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton.
