A retired secretary, Faye Ball, 66, of 101 Mill Road, Clinton, died Thursday at Fort Sanders ParkWest Medical Center. She was a Sevier County native.

Mrs. Ball was retired from Wayne L. Smith and Associates. She was a member of the Sevier Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John L. Ball; sisters, Juanita L. Cooper of Strawberry Plains; Katie Holder of Seymour; step-daughter, Lois Monroe of Powell; two step-grand-children, Randy and Janice Monroe of Powell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edmond Latham officiating. Burial was on Sunday in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
