Lillie Alice Ballinger, 90, of Norris, died Monday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

The daughter of James and Sally Phillips Moore, she was born March 11, 1904, in Grainger County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ballinger.

Survivors include two daughters, Edith Merritt of Norris and Betty Ritz of Romeo, Mich.; son and daughter-in-law, James and June Ballinger of Kingston, Mass.; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Swaggerty of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was conducted Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Wallace officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
