BARBE, DENNIS G. age 52, of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, October, 4, 1999 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born August 17, 1947 in Bristol, Virginia. He was General Manager of Clinton Utilities Board. He was a member of Melton Hill Regional Industrial Development Association. He was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering. Preceded in death by father, Glenn D. Barbe I. Survivors: wife, Rhonda Barbe of Oak Ridge sons, Phillip Barbe of Oak Ridge, Aaron Barbe of Oak Ridge; mother, Elizabeth Barbe of Bristol; brothers, David & Jane Ellen Barbe of Roanoke, Va., Phillip & Joan Barbe of Bristol; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Lucille & Jesse Brown of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Brenda & Larry Clemmer of Maryville, Jean Brown & Michael Clodfelter of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Allen & Jewell Brown of Maryville; several nieces, nephews & a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following at 8:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Samuel Dean officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 7, 1999 at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to organization or charity of choice. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
