William (Bill) Barker, 77, of Highland Drive, Clinton, died Friday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Barker worked for Union Carbide at the Y-12 plant before he retired.

He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. He was a prisoner of war in Germany.

His parents were the late James and Grace Hacker Barker. He was born March 19, 1916.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae Barker of Clinton; daughter, Mrs. Jimmy (Ann) Delozier; grandsons, Michael Allen Delozier, Matthew James and wife Holli Delozier, Mark Edward and wife Sherry Delozier, all of Anniston, AL; a great-granddaughter, Heather Faith Delozier; sister, Stella Barker Sikes of Big Stone Gap, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Sunday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim McPherson, the Rev. Gary Swaggerty and the Rev. George Williams officiating. Burial was at Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
