Maggie Lou Bazel, 48, died Monday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was of the Baptist faith and attended Asbury United Methodist Church. Miss Bazel had lived in Anderson County all her life. The daughter of Albert Gallaher Bazel and Francis Bazel, she was born July 14, 1946. Miss Bazel was employed with Modine Manufacturing company for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son, Bradley Long; and a brother, William Bazel.
Survivors include her mother, Francis Bazel; daughter, Lorinda Long of Nashville; a son, Rodney Long of Clinton; stepson, Titen Long of Buffalo, NY; one granddaughter, Tiffany Long of Nashville; nephew, Robert Wallace of Clinton; sister-in-law, Louise Bazel; cousin, Charles Miller and special friend, Wendell Anderson.
Funeral service will be 8 pm Thursday in Martin Clinton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. Ellis McCleary officiating.
Friends may call 7-8 pm Thursday in Martin Clinton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 10 am Friday in Weaver’s Cemetery.
