FRED BROWN - 66, of Olive Road, Clinton, passed away Wednesday at UT
Hospital. Mr. Brown was a former Tennessee Highway Patrolman and worked as an
electrician at Union Carbide Y-12. Mr. Brown was owner and operator of F&G
Auto Sales in Clinton, and Mid South Auto Auction. Member of Clinton Lions
Club and Clinton F.O.P. and I.B.E.W. Local 760.
Preceded in death by: his
father, Charles Brown. Survivors: wife, Geneva Staples Brown of Clinton;
daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanie and Bill Moore of Knoxville, Doris and Klay
Kerns of Plattsmouth, Neb., Helen Brown of Clinton; mother, Nannie Fugate
Brown of Lenoir City.
Funeral services 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Holley-Gamble
Chapel with Rev. Fred West, Jr. and Doctor Thomas Sweet officiating. Interment
will be 11 a.m., Monday at Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to Powell Community Christian Concerns or to
the Gideons Life Memorial Bible Plan.
Family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m.,
Sunday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
