Robert (Bob) Cabral, 48, of 455 Oliver Drive in Oliver Springs died on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
Cabral was born on June 24, 1943 in Fall River, MA, and moved to Anderson County 23 years ago.
He had been an electrician for 20 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority at Fort Loudoun Dam.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Oak Ridge, the Norwood Boys and Girls Club and the South Hills Golf Club and enjoyed gold, camping, woodworking and other sports.
Cabral was a member of Batley Baptist Church in Marlow.
He is survived by his wife, Shollie Hendrix Cabral; parents, Alfred B. and O’Linda Garcia Cabral of Fall River, three daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Preston Jones of Oliver Springs, Tammy and Scott Freels of Clinton and Sherrie and James Killefer of Memphis; two brothers, James Cabral of Tiverton, RI, and Joseph Cabral of Fall River; three sisters, Carol Martin and Debbie Stefnik, both of Fall River and Linda Martin of Suansea, MA; and grandson, James E. (Jamie) Johnson II of Clinton.
The funeral was held Friday, Sept. 7, at the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Garvin W. Walls Jr.
Burial was at the Batley Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Weatherford Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
