Helen E. Davis Caldwell, 75, of Iroquois Lane, Clinton, died Jan. 6 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
She had been an area resident for many years and had lived in Pompano Beach, FL for eight years. She returned to Clinton six months ago.
A native of WV, her parents were the late Vesta and Jack Davis. Her husband, Harlan Caldwell, a daughter, Burnetta Evans, and five sisters and brothers also preceded her in death.
Survivors include five daughters, Juanita Yri of Peachtree City, GA, Betty Carlsen of Destin, FL, Mary Chamberlain of Knoxville, Regina Wagner of Oliver Springs and Carolyn Chamberlain of Clinton; three sons, Patrick Byrd of Coalfield, Enoch Chamberlain of Lenior City and Mickey Chamberlain of the Marlow community; a sister, Margaret Shutt of Nashville; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday in the chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home in Knoxville with the Rev. Ronnie Owens officiating. Burial was at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
