Robert “Bud” Campbell, 69, of Oliver Springs, died Monday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge following a long illness.
A native of Greene County, Mr. Campbell had lived in the Oliver Springs area for the past 50 years. He was a teamster and a member of New Fairview Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Oma Campbell; a sister, Leona Crowe; and three brothers, Joe, James and Andrew Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Nannie Margaret Ollis Campbell of Oliver Springs; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Brenda Campbell of Oliver Springs and Bruce W. and Becky Campbell of Harriman; and grandchildren, Randy, John and Mindy Campbell.
Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday in Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Stubbs and Dr. Ted Raby officiating. Burial will follow in New Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 7-9 pm Wednesday.
