Wilma Turner Capps, 83, of Andersonville, died Friday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mrs. Capps was a life-long member of Bryams Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Luther Creed Turner and Herman Capps.

Survivors include a son, John H. Turner of Andersonville; daughter, Nancy Hudson of Sparta, NC; two stepsons, the Rev. James Capps of Corryton and J.B. Capps of Powell; two sisters, Lois Ballard and Alma Daniels, both of Knoxville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lilly Turner of Andersonville; and a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral service was Sunday in the chapel of Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville, with the Rev. Roy Beeler and the Rev. Burney Hutchison officiating. Burial was Monday in Macedonia Church Cemetery.

Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville, was in charge of arrangements.
