Jesse Lee “Jack” Carden Jr., age 56, of Heiskell, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mr. Carden was a crane operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 917 in Knoxville. He was an avid NASCAR fan and also the owner of C. D. Racing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Lee Carden Sr.
Survivors: wife, Vivian Carden of Heiskell; daughters, C.J. Carden and Judi Cook of Heiskell; son, Jackie Carden of Knoxville; grandchildren, Megan, Jordan and Justin Cook; mother, Dorothy Carden of Heiskell; brother, Tommy and wife Irene Carden of Knoxville and nephew, Ronnie Carden of Knoxville.
The family received friends from 6-8 pm Friday, March 19, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
A graveside service with military honors is Saturday, March 20, in the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Heiskell, with the Rev. Glenn Hall and Rev. Bill Moore officiating.
