Flossie Mildred Barnes Cardwell, 88, of Lake City, died Thursday in LaFollette Medical Center, LaFollette.
Mrs. Cardwell had been a faithful member of Mountain Assembly Church of God in Lake City for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons, a daughter and one sister.
Survivors include a son, Uless Barnes of Lake City; a daughter, Mary Onelli of New Jersey; a brother, Carlas Thurman of Winter Haven, FL; three sisters, Virginia Dykes of LaFollette, Rosie Barnes of Caryville and Oneita Fay of Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 8 pm Sunday in Martin Funeral Home chapel, Lake City, and 11 am Monday in Mountain Assembly of God. The Rev. Condy Pyles will officiate both services. Burial will follow the Monday service in New Queener Cemetery, Jacksboro.
Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday in Martin Funeral Home, Lake City.
