Dan Arthur Jeffers, 61, formerly of Clinton, died Wednesday in V. A. Hospital in Salisbury, NC.

Mr. Jeffers worked in construction at Rust Engineering in Oak Ridge. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Clara Bridges Jeffers.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Donna Sue and Homer Marmonly of Meadowview, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Edward and Carol Jeffers of Abbington, Va., three grandchildren; sister, Linda Blaker of Clinton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Wanda Jeffers of Oak Rdige and Jimmy and Peggy Jeffers of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 pm Sunday in Warren Memorial Garden in Elk Valley with the Rev. Jack Taylor officiating.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
