Bobby E. Daniels of Knoxville died Friday in his home.

Mr. Daniels was former mayor of Lake City and was retired from O.R.A.U. He was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church, Knoxville, and a former member of Main Street Baptist Church>
P>He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Della Gertrude Daniels; four brothers, two sisters and grandson, Bryan Daniels.

Survivors include his wife, Clydene Daniels; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Rhea Daniels of Lake City, Kelly and Sherry Daniels of Knoxville and Sgt. Norman Daniels USAF of Goldsboro, NC; and daughters and a son-in-law, Cara White of Knoxville and Paula and Tim Fellers of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Jarrett White and Ian, Melanie and Sara Daniels; sisters, Margaret West of Maggie Valley, NC, Mae Sparkman of Hopewell, VA, Mary Sparkman of Richland, VA and Betty McKnight of California; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Monday in Rose Mortuary with the Rev. Kenyn Currington officiating. Burial will be Tuesday in Leach Cemetery, Lake City.

Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, Knoxville, was in charge of arrangements.
