William Sherman Daniels, 66, of Oliver Springs, died on Monday, June 12, 1995, at the Morgan County Life Care Center in Wartburg of cancer.
Mr. Daniels and his mother owned and operated the former Sanitary Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Oliver Springs approximately 30 years ago. More recently, he managed the snack bar in the Federal Building in Oak Ridge at different times since 1974.
Born June 9, 1929, in Chattanooga, he was the son of Oscar and Pauline McClure Daniels. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. He enjoyed all sports, his daughter said.
Mr. Daniels is survived by a daughter, Katherine Nora Siler of Oliver Springs; and two grandchildren, Matthew Lee Siler of Oliver Springs and Curtis David Siler of Sparta.
Ellen Foster is a special friend.
The funeral will be at 8 tonight, June 14, in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. Jonathan Lands and the Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1 pm on Thursday, June 15, at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at the mortuary.
