Anna Duncan Daugherty, 95, formerly of Mackin Lane in the Karns community of Knoxville, died Thursday morning in Oak Ridge Health Care Center.
Born Jan. 18, 1899, to Andrew M. and Sally Shoopman Duncan, she was raised in the Frost Bottom community of Anderson County.
Mrs. Daugherty was a member of Riverview Baptist Church of Claxton.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Julian Daugherty; son, Lloyd Daugherty; and brothers, Luther, Albert and Allen Duncan.
Survivors include one daughter, Beatrice Worthington of Clinton; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Nancy Brown Daugherty of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Lloyd C. Daugherty Jr. of Powell, Kent E. Worthington of Andersonville and Sylvia D. McGhee of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Chad Worthington and Dennis McGhee; daughter-in-law, Gertrude Daughtery of Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3 pm Sunday in Holley-Gamble Chapel with the Rev. Don Hensley and Rev. Harold Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-3 pm prior to the services in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
