Cleo Daphine Daugherty, 88, of Clinton, died Friday in Briarcliff Nursing Home, Oak Ridge.

The daughter of Frank and Ellen Cooper Kendig, she was born April 11, 1907, in Anderson County. A homemaker, Mrs. Daugherty was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lones Daugherty; brother, Avery Kendig; sisters, Lois Cox and Ruth Braden; and half brother, Delmer Lucas.

Survivors include sister, Thelma Miller of Clinton; stepdaughter Fay Coah of Briceville; and nieces, Billy Wilson of Clinton and Betty Leahe of Claxton.
P>Graveside service will be 11 am Monday at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call 7-8:30 pm Sunday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
