Dennis Ray Daugherty, 40, of the Medford community, Lake City, died Thursday, April 18, in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Daugherty, born July 20, 1955, in Anderson County, was of Baptist Faith. He was a carpet installer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Ray Daugherty and son, Thomas Ray Daugherty.

Survivors are daughters, Kara Massengill of Caryville and Jennifer Marie Daugherty of Lake City; son, Daniel Ray Daugherty of Lake City; mother, Dorothy Jean Daugherty of Lake City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Bobby Darrell Rains of Lake City, and Linda and Ricky Phillips of Oak Ridge; and nephews, Jimmy Darrell Rains, Chris Rains, Wesley Rains and Brandon Lee Phillips.

Family received friends 6-8 pm Friday, April 19, in Cox Funeral Home chapel, Lake City.

Funeral services were 8 pm Friday in Cox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Eddie Bridges officiating.

Interment was 11 am Saturday, April 20, in Foust Cemetery, Lake City.
